Delivery Questions

How much does delivery cost within DC?

Delivery fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on your exact address. For most DC neighborhoods the fee is a fraction of what you'd spend on parking or a Metro round-trip. To put it in perspective: street parking near our 14th Street location is hard to find, and garage parking runs $20–30.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes — $30 minimum. A single portion of our fish easily exceeds this threshold.

Is the fish fresh? How is it kept cold during delivery?

All fish is sourced fresh from Japan and handled at sashimi-grade standards. Orders are packed in insulated bags with 1 lb+ ice packs, more than sufficient for DC deliveries.

What hours do you deliver?

We take delivery orders from 1 pm to 8 pm daily, except on days we are closed. Same-day ordering is available within those hours.

Can I schedule delivery for a specific time?

Yes. In the order view, tap the date and hour shown to select your preferred delivery window. Prep time is approximately 30 minutes after you place your order.

Who delivers? What about tips?

We use DoorDash/Nash for local delivery. Tipping is optional but appreciated, especially during peak hours. 100% of the tip goes directly to the driver.

Yes. No-contact delivery is available — just note your preference at checkout.
